What are you going to do?

As a Cyber ​​Security Engineer, you are a critical person in our operations and interface with the Security team. You have a passion for security, which is why you want to know how systems work, how to use them and how to 'misuse' them. You are responsible for the operational security of Triple's various cloud and (virtual) server environments. You handle and follow up on security incidents and maintain Triple standards based on industry best practices. You will, of course, also help with (and advise on) improving and setting up new customer environments. In addition, you will write scripts to automate security tasks such as scanning and checking.


You work in the Technology Operations department with more than 30 colleagues. You participate in the day-to-day business. In concrete terms, you will process security tickets and proactively check things. You also give solicited and unsolicited advice. We are all well aware that our built platforms can also go down. We respond to this by setting the environments as "resilient" as possible. To help our customers adequately, we know in detail how our platforms work. Ultimately, that is what we, as Triple, stand for: surprising our customers with excellent service. The team runs breakdown services, and you will also become part of this. Fortunately, all colleagues participate in this, so you have a breakdown service every six weeks.


Within Triple, we use a varied hybrid stack, mainly based on Linux, but also Windows and serverless processing:

Who are we looking for?

As a person, you bring a broad knowledge of cloud security and cyber security. We don't expect you to know everything; that's impossible. In addition to the expertise and affinity in the field of cyber security, you must have a natural interest in security knowledge about cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Your colleagues and customers expect you to have a vision and opinion about where the security technology is going. You are, therefore, open to discussion and changes when new ideas are brought forward, and it is vital to come up with ideas and strategies yourself.


The team works well together; fun is essential, which is why many colleagues go to the cinema together, have lunch in the city or go out together. In addition to all social events, personal development is important to us. Not only by following courses but also by visiting leading trade fairs and attending tech/security events in your area of ​​interest. This allows you to keep challenging yourself and gives you the space to grow further.

Job requirements

  • At least Bachelor's degree or proven experience;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Cloud Defender, Sentinel and Amazon Security hub;
  • Experience with the implementation of Tenable.IO discovery and vulnerability management processes;
  • Operational knowledge of commonly used operating systems (Linux, Windows);
  • Experience with commonly used script/programming languages ​​(bash, python etc.);
  • Knowledge of the latest security news & hacking techniques;
  • Able to perform network and website scans;
  • Experience with -supervising and monitoring- security testing and ethical hacking;
  • Being able to properly prioritize and explain risks.
  • Experience with configuration and automation;
  • Experience with security, cluster environments and containers;
  • Of course, you speak and write English effortlessly.

Our Process

1. Phone Interview

Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.

2. Introductory interview

If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.

3. Second Interview

Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.

4. Written offer

Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
