What are you going to do?

Joining Triple as a Node.js Developer means becoming an integral part of a dynamic and innovative competence team where you will work together in one or multiple project teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex integrations of various external systems. These integrations will aggregate data and make it accessible through APIs that service mobile and web applications. You will be heavily involved in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that each release meets our high standards of quality and efficiency.

In addition to these core development tasks, you will be engaged in various aspects of project management and team collaboration. You will participate in agile scrum teams, utilising tools like Jira and Git for effective project tracking and version control. The role also demands a keen eye for quality, as you will be responsible for maintaining code quality checked by SonarCloud and implementing unit tests. The diversity of projects at Triple ensures a continually challenging and rewarding work environment.

Additional tasks:

  • Develop and integrate systems in various backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless functionality for mobile and web applications.

  • Participate in sprint planning and releases, adhering to Agile methodologies.

  • Maintain high standards of code quality and implement unit tests for robustness.

  • Manage multiple projects, focusing on AWS cloud environments.

Who are we looking for?

About the team

As a member of the Node.js competence team of about ten members, your role will involve participating in a team environment that fosters growth and knowledge exchange. The team conducts weekly knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on Node.js and broader JavaScript technologies. These sessions involve interactions with web and mobile competencies across the company, which helps to develop a comprehensive understanding of different platforms and technologies.

In this role, you will get to work on one or more projects, often collaborating with front-end team members. Your experience will be valuable in contributing to the projects. You will also mentor and guide junior team members, helping them learn and grow from your insights and expertise.

Job requirements

  • A completed HBO education or equivalent relevant work experience;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Node.js developer;

  • Knowledge of TypeScript;

  • Knowledge of (NodeJS) headless CMSs, like Strapi;

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or CDK;

  • Pre: Familiarity with technologies such as TypeORM, MySQL, DynamoDB, OpenAPI, GraphQL, AWS API Gateway, AWS AppSync;

  • You live in The Netherlands.

Our Process

1. Phone Interview

Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.

2. Introductory interview

If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.

3. Second Interview

Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.

4. Written offer

Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
