What are you going to do?
As a Frontend Developer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining web platforms for our customers. You will work in a young, talented team, where we work with tools such as TypeScript, React and Svelte. With your drive and skills, you contribute to the growth and development of our team.
You do that by:
- Implementing new features and improvements;
- Developing through Svelte and React (Contexts & Hooks);
- Actively thinking along with our customers & colleagues about new and existing functionalities;
- Be accountable for our architecture standards;
- Testing code with Unit Testing and Code Reviews;
- Supervising interns and junior developers.
As a Frontend Developer, you will be with 70 other developers in our Development department. The web team consists of 20 specialists who entirely focus on web development. You work in a multidisciplinary project team comprising designers, mobile & backend developers, QA engineers and a project manager. With this team, you work together on the platform of one or more customers.
Within the web team, we think it is essential to share knowledge. This is how we make each other a little better every day. We have different ways to do that. Every week we meet during our Web Weekly. There we discuss new techniques and frameworks or developments within complex projects. We also have a weekly TED talk where a colleague gives a presentation in which they go deeper into a web dev topic. In addition, there is also room to tell something personal, a lovely holiday, or, for example, that kickflip on your skateboard that finally worked. So it's a weekly mini-meetup. We also do much knowledge sharing with our colleagues from the Smart TV (Svelte & TypeScript) team and the React Native team. In this way, we broaden our understanding and know precisely what is happening in the technical field.
We also do Code Reviews within the team, regardless of the level at which you work. As a junior, you also review the code of more experienced colleagues. You learn a lot from that. You are encouraged to ask as many questions as possible because, in this way, you know to understand a more experienced colleague's thoughts and be critical. If you are more experienced, we expect you to do code reviews to ensure our quality standards and answer questions.
As you can see, we at Triple take our work very seriously. But it is even more critical that we can work in a friendly environment, with nice people. This will make our work even better. That is why we organize team building days with fun activities (such as a good kart battle) or dinner together. All kinds of events are scheduled regularly, such as Funky Fridays and Triple Talks Meetups. And we also do many fun things outside working hours, such as gaming, having drinks and working on our hobby projects. After all, you don't just become a Great Place to Work.
Who are we looking for?
We expect you to have a vision and opinion about new technologies. In addition, you are open to discussion and changes when new ideas are presented or you come up with suggestions. You have good communication skills and switch easily between internal and external colleagues and customers.
Personal development is essential, partly because the digital landscape is changing rapidly. That is why you are willing to learn new techniques, take courses and attend conferences so that you are always well aware of the latest developments.
You contribute to the growth of yourself and others and keep your colleagues informed of new developments within your projects and the field of work. In addition, you occasionally give presentations on development themes that make you happy.

- HBO working and thinking level;
- Several years of experience as a Frontend Developer;
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Svelte or another framework;
- Experience with Unit Testing (React Testing & Jest);
- Experience with Streaming Video & DRM is a bonus;
- Of course, you speak Dutch and English fluently.

1. Phone Interview
Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.
2. Introductory interview
If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.
3. Second Interview
Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.
4. Written offer
Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
