We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has a solid footing to ensure that all these projects are delivered correctly. What will you do?
A project manager at Triple is the linchpin of our technical projects. You ensure that our development team does not have to worry about the practicalities surrounding a project but that they can entirely focus on creating the best solutions for our customers.
As a project manager, you work with us on several projects simultaneously. Usually, you will be responsible for one large project and two or three smaller projects. That provides a nice variety in your work because the different projects offer a lot of variety in type and size. We work in an agile way, and you are individually responsible for a team. The nice thing about working for a digital agency like Triple is that your team consists of internal colleagues with different expertise (Design, Development, Data and DevOps). Still, your most important stakeholders are external to the customer. You are the link between all these parties and work independently.
You are also responsible for the budget of the project. Organize, facilitate and supervise the (scrum) meetings during the project. You keep accurate track of the projects' status and maintain the administration of your projects.
In addition to supervising our projects, our project managers also have the vital task of ensuring a good team atmosphere. We believe that the best teamwork also produces the best work. You also get a lot of space to organize fun events for the team. Celebrating success is also important to us, so you play an essential role.
What do you bring with you?
As a Project Manager, we expect you to be convincing and able to take the lead on several projects simultaneously. You dare to think outside the box and have good analytical skills. You recognize commercial opportunities (note: you don't have to do sales; we have our account managers for this) and show a hands-on mentality.
You are firmly in your shoes in terms of communication. You can switch quickly between the different parties and projects and also dare to say 'no' when ideas or solutions are not feasible to customers and your colleagues. But above all, you are a team player who asks for and shares knowledge. You independently direct several projects simultaneously and support projects where necessary, for example, when it comes to testing.
As a Senior Project Manager you understand all the ins and outs of project management. You are responsible for completing projects on time, within budget and with the desired result. You are responsible for planning, managing and executing complex projects with high budget responsibility and multiple stakeholders. Your duties include preparing project plans, managing resources, coordinating teams and work, monitoring progress and ensuring the quality of the final product.
Our colleagues are our most important weapon within Triple. With solid teamwork, we can do the best work together. Our project management team comprises about 15 colleagues, with a good mix of juniors, mediors and seniors. Every Thursday, we meet as a team to go through the projects, discuss what PMs encounter, and learn from each other. Although you have a solo role as PM, you are never alone. You have a large team to spar with.
We further support each other by sharing tips & tricks, holding knowledge sessions and keeping each other well-informed. You, therefore, always have a backup ready. In addition, you always work on your projects with a Tech Lead or Architect for technical issues and an Account Manager for commercial matters.
We think it is crucial that you, together with your talented colleagues, not only create beautiful solutions for our customers but that are also given the space to grow yourself. We have set up an extensive development program for all our Triple colleagues. Within this program, we offer you personal guidance from our in-house coach and all training opportunities for technical and soft skills with which we can help you achieve your development goals. For example, obtaining your certification as a project manager is possible.
Higher Professional Education (HBO) work and thinking level;
Relevant work experience as a project manager/scrum master with budget responsibility;
Experience managing projects consisting of an internal team, for an external client;
Affinity with web and app development;
Pre: In possession of a certificate of project management methodologies, or open to obtain this in the near future.

1. Phone Interview
Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.
2. Introductory interview
If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.
3. Second Interview
Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.
4. Written offer
Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
