Tech Lead / Architect

We are looking for a Tech Lead to strengthen our team at Triple. Do you want to be the connection between the customer and our developers? Would you like to take on development, project management and scrum master tasks for clients such as NLZIET & citizenM?
What are you going to do?
As a Tech Lead at Triple, you are the first link in the communication to the Product Owner (from the customer) and the translation into the work for your team members. You coordinate the frameworks together with our Architects. What tech are we going to use? What are the information flows, and what are the requirements? It is up to you to translate this for the (development) team.
As a Tech Lead, you work on average on two projects at the same time, and you are closely involved in the operation. You ensure that the different competencies are aligned. You support the team members and ensure that the work is clear. In addition, your activities include:
- Optimizing running and starting projects.
You identify and manage in a timely manner to implement improvements in your projects. You mentor the other team members and help with the further development of projects.
- Getting the scope clear.
You are responsible and actively involved in the refinement of the work. That is why you are critical and regularly ask the why question. You also have the insight to map edge cases in advance.
- Responsible for technical quality.
You keep yourself informed of the latest developments in development and contribute points for improvement.
- Being a sparring partner for the project manager & product owner.
You answer (technical) questions and identify the responsibilities of the various stakeholders. Based on your experience, you are able to determine priorities based on technology.
- Improving the team.
You enjoy working on improving processes, and you have a critical eye for inefficient processes. You give your feedback positively and constructively.
Who are we looking for?
As a person, you are decisive and looking for the right solution to the right question. Naturally, you do this by engaging with all stakeholders and your team. You are also part of the team and responsible for making decisions on technical issues. In this role, you communicate with various stakeholders; therefore, we expect you to be verbally assertive.
You also have a passion for technology. By that, we mean that you don't need to know all the ins & outs of all techniques, but you have enough experience to understand how IT works. You give your advice, solicited and unsolicited, and are open to the opinions of others. You get the space to develop and grow yourself.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least Bachelor's working and thinking level;
- At least five years of experience as a developer in larger complex projects;
- Experience as a Tech Lead is a bonus;
- Experience with backend as frontend is an advantage;
- Of course, you speak and write in English fluently.

1. Phone Interview
Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.
2. Introductory interview
If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.
3. Second Interview
Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.
4. Written offer
Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
