What are you going to do?
As an Azure Engineer at Triple, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining our Cloud Solutions based on the Azure stack. You will work in Team Charlie, where your focus will mainly be on the construction and support of PaaS solutions on Azure. Our customers are located all over the world, which ensures a dynamic working environment. You work closely with our customers and team of architects, engineers and developers to develop the best solutions that meet the requirements. You are passionate about the cloud and familiar with the latest trends and best practices. You know how to use Azure services to build scalable, reliable, secure cloud solutions.
Your activities include:
- Designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions for our customers;
- Setting up and managing hosting environments based on scripting (ARM templates, Azure CLI and Powershell);
- Building and configuring Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, security, databases, and applications;
- Setting up and managing build & release pipelines to support your colleagues in the automation and integration of the CI/CD pipelines;
- Optimizing Azure deployments to meet performance and scalability requirements;
- Monitoring, maintaining and optimizing (existing) Azure environments to ensure reliability and security;
- Solving problems and providing support for technical issues;
- Collaborating with different (competence) teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the standards;
- Participating in 24/7 management services.
The TechOps (Technology Operations) department comprises approximately 40 engineers and is essential within Triple. As an Azure Engineer, you become part of the Charlie Team within TechOps. Within Team Charlie, you have six direct Azure colleagues. The team consists of different nationalities and, therefore, mainly works remotely.
Even though the team partly works remotely, we are all part of Triple. For example, if we have a team weekend, we celebrate success together. In addition, within the TechOps department, we focus on sharing knowledge and experience. We do this by starting the day every morning with a stand-up, where everyone discusses their work and asks for help where necessary.
What do you bring with you?
As an Engineer, you preferably bring scripting and programming knowledge, such as Powershell, Python, Golang or C#. You also have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration using tools like Bicep or ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet and SaltStack. Furthermore, you are not unfamiliar with file formats such as JSON, YAML, TOML or XML. You also have experience with DevOps processes and tooling, such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Github, Git and Jenkins.
In addition, you have good communication skills and enjoy interacting with your colleagues and customer. It is advantageous to have certification in Azure (such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect), or you would like to be certified in the future. You are naturally interested in the cloud's developments and keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field;
- At least three years of experience with Azure cloud solutions and services;
- Knowledge of cloud security, networking and storage.
- Experience with automation and scripting in Azure, such as PowerShell and ARM templates.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (Dutch is a big plus).

1. Phone Interview
Once you have sent us your application, we aim to contact you within 2 days. We will schedule a phone interview with you. This introduction will take about 30 minutes and is mainly intended to tell you more about Triple.
2. Introductory interview
If we feel it is a match from both sides, we will invite you for an introductory interview. Your future team lead and another colleague will be present. During the first meeting we would like to hear all about your requirements, ambitions and current knowledge level. Together we determine whether this fits Triple.
3. Second Interview
Are we all still in for it? In that case you will receive an invitation for a second interview from us. During the second interview we will go deeper into the technology and challenges involved. The goal is to determine where your added value lies. This interview will be attended by colleagues who are better able to deep dive into the actual work details with you.
4. Written offer
Did you have two positive interviews? Great! In this case, a written offer will follow, explaining the primary and secondary conditions of the job. The recruiter you spoke with earlier will contact you about this.
